Join us for a creative escape in our workshop, where you'll dive into the art of crafting your very own ring or pendant from jeweller's wax. It's a laid-back and enjoyable session, perfect for beginners with no prior experience. After the workshop, we'll take your unique wax creation and transform it into a stunning sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver piece. Unleash your creativity and craft a one-of-a-kind jewel that tells your story!
What to expect
The aim of the workshop is for you to relax, unleash your creativity and of course spend an evening doing something different. The workshop utilises the ancient technique of lost wax casting which is an almost meditative way of creating jewellery as it requires focus and concentration. Think of it like therapy with the added bonus of a beautiful piece of jewellery at the end!
The process
During the workshop you can create either a ring or a pendant using a special wax used in jewellery making. It lasts about 3 hours and I will be there to guide you and share my tips and tricks with you. All your pieces are then sent to the smelters to be transformed from wax into metal and then back to our workshop to buff, polish and shine! This can take up to 7 working days. Your wax prototype creation should weight less than 0,25 g. You can of course create a heavier / chunkier piece at an additional cost. Please note that the price does not include a chain for the pendant but you are more than welcome to browse our collection of chains online or in our showroom and add it on.
