How can I find my ring size?

4 simple ways to find your ring size.

  1. Ask a professional

The easiest way to figure out your ring size is to visit a jewellery shop and ask to be sized. Then make a note of the ring sizes for all your fingers and you are good to go. You get the added reassurance that a professional has helped you figure them out so there is no way you'll get it wrong! We use UK sizing on our website. If your measurement is in EU or US sizing you can use the chart below to find the UK equivalent.

  1. Measure an existing ring

If you already own a ring that fits on the finger you intend to wear your new ring on, you can measure its diameter. Use a ruler and measure the inside diameter of the ring making sure to exclude the band. Once you have your measurement, use the Inside Diameter column in the chart below to find your UK size.

  1. Use a ring sizer.

We carry a ring sizer which is very easy to use, accurate and reusable. It works like a belt, you simply push the end through the buckle to form a ring shape. You then slip the ring onto your finger and adjust it accordingly for a comfortable fit. Just make sure it slips back over your knuckle!

  1. Use what you have.

You can measure an existing ring that fits you well. Take the measurement of the inside of the band from one side to the other with a ruler, excluding the actual band. Now match the measurement to the diameter column in the chart below. If it falls between 2 sizes, it's best to size up and order a larger size.

Tips for finding the perfect ring size:

  • Fingers tend to swell throughout the day, so it's better to measure in the evening.
  • Do not measure your hands when they are cold, they may have shrunk up to half a size! Mindblowing, huh?
  • Keep in mind that the same finger on opposite hands may have different sizes. Therefore, measure the specific finger on which you are planning to wear the ring.
  • The wider the band, the tighter the ring will feel as it will covers a larger area on your finger.
