#MeetTheMakerWeek | Silver Lining

Although it may seem unlikely in a year such as this one, there was a silver lining. I just had to look closer. Like a lot closer. Like I was squinting. 😂⠀
⠀
For me the silver lining was finding the clarity and time to look inwards, discover my strength, test my resilience, expand my imagination, chart a new path for my business and get scrappy and creative AF. ⠀
⠀
Most small businesses HAD (and still have) to get creative to survive during this period. Petition to give honorary Problem Solving degrees to all small business owners! Survivor by Destiny's Child will play on loop for the graduation ceremony via Zoom. Who's with me?⠀
⠀
Personally I let myself be creative as much as possible and see what I could come up with. It was great being able to explore ideas and reallyyyyy take my time to bring them to life and just slowing down in general. Fast forward a few months and I now offer loads of pretty things alongside my jewellery. I introduced 6 Lil Tops, 36 face masks & 7 puff ball bags with a few more things in the works and coming soon.
⠀
I may not be where I thought I would be when I was setting my goals in the beginning of the year but I'm STILL here and ⠀
I like where I am. ⠀
⠀
*in my spa voice* It's a journey. And it ain't a straight line. There's bound to be ups, downs and shake it all arounds. And maybe that's what it's all about? (Oh no she didn't)⠀
⠀
What do you think? ⠀
